Meaning of the different colors:
The darker the pad, the more abrasive.
Black pads (abrasive) are hard, have a very coarse structure and contain many abrasive particles.
Green and blue pads (abrasive) are medium-hard and contain fewer abrasive particles than the hard pads.
Red and beige pads are fine and soft and only slightly abrasive.
White pads are very soft and suitable for polishing.
